Bob Mackie started his costume design career in 1961 by creating masterpieces for Edith Head and Jean Louis. In his 50+ year career, he would eventually design costumes for the Carol Burnett Show, Mitzi Gaynor, and multiple Cher tours. Theatrically, he designed costumes for On The Town (With Bernadette Peters), Putting It Together (With Carol Burnett), and Minnelli On Minnelli (With Liza Minnelli) amongst many others. Still acting as a strong presence in the community, Bob Mackie remains current. Above all, his designs are still iconic as they are vibrant.
